The tranquil water of Kundala, which lies 12Km upstream to Madupetty, is an ideal habitat for the exotic trout fish. The surprising similarity, with the Dal lake of Kashmir has compelled us to intruduce "Kashmiri Shikkaras" offering an elite ride for two. You can also enjoy pedal boats and rowing boats. We bet that you will loose the sense of time immersing in the serenity of the locale.
The centre is named after the exotic fish called 'Trout' which is believed to have existed here during the past. The Kundaly dam is the frst concrete dam, which was designed and built in the mid - late 1940's by Gecome Oommen, Chief Engineer in the erstwhile Travancore Government's Public Works Dept.
